WS Public Workshop with Dr. Maryam; Next Online Celebration of Lunar New Year
(By willz) Our sincere thanks to Dr. Maryam Aliabadi for taking the time out of her busy schedule to give us a wonderful free public workshop about Cyber Security on Monday the Jan 18th, 2021.
Dr. Aliabadi is the CEO and Co-founder of KIDS' SHIELD SERVICES Inc, focusing on Comprehensiveness Curriculum, Interactive Games, Intelligent Assessment and more.
She is always passionate to make internet a safer place for people specially kids. She is currently a research associate at UBC.
During the workshop, Dr. Aliabadi explained all kinds of cyber security problems, risks, and the motivation for her to apply her knowledge to help the public to be safe online. All participants deeply appreciated Dr. Aliabadi’s valuable information, and will apply them to the daily online world.
