In order to promote the 2018 Chinese Cultural Heritage Festival & the 10th Vancouver Water Splashing Festival, the press conference was successfully hold at Burnaby City Hall on July 10th.

This press conference was moderated by Liu Hai and Sophia Xinyuan Zhang, and around 100 people attended this conference.

The press conference started with the welcome speech by Mayor Derek Corrigan, City of Burnaby. He thought highly about the Chinese Cultural Heritage Festival, he announced the “Chinese Cultural Heritage Week” from July 23 to July 29, and the 2018 Chinese Cultural Heritage Festival & the 10th Vancouver Water Splashing Festival will be take place on July 29th at Swangard Stadium in Burnaby.

To further spread Chinese traditional culture, to further strengthen the cultural and economic relationship between Canada and China, to enhance the cooperation between ethnic groups and communities, and to further promote the development of multiculturalism in Canada, we are hosting the 2018 Chinese Cultural Heritage Festival and the 10th Vancouver Water Splashing Festival.


The 2018 Chinese Cultural Heritage Festival and the 10th Vancouver Water Splashing Festival, organized by Canadian Community Service Association (CCSA), sponsored by Aimforce Real Estate Development Co., Ltd., hosted by Chinese Construction and Renovation Association of Canada (CCRAC), and HellobButler.com, will be held at the Swangard Stadium in Burnaby on July 29 from 10am to 6pm.

The 2018 Chinese Cultural Heritage Festival and the 10th Vancouver Water Splashing Festival will hold a formal plaque ceremony. There will be five major theme activities: Connecting - the past time, Unique - folk artists, Song and Dance - traditional arts, Food - China Taste, Water Splashing Festival - traditional festival.


CCSA successfully hosted the “2016 Chinese Cultural Heritage Festival and the 8th Vancouver Water Splashing Festival” with around 14,000 participants. The “2017 Chinese Cultural Heritage Festival and the 9th Vancouver Water Splashing Festival” reached more than 20,000 participants. It is expected that the number of participants for this year will also increase substantially.
